Halloween Crafts
Guest Artist Heather Donohue will be hosting a felty fun Halloween crafting class. Make seasonal shapes such as ghosts, pumpkins, bats, candy and more, made from felt, glue and paint. Add string to hang up the creations, if you like!
All art classes take place in person at our location at 50th and France in Minneapolis.
More info on the guest artist:
Heather Donohue is a maker and content creator who has been crafting since childhood. Projects included polymer clay Santas, Garfields, miniature food, and pet commissions. She’d sell at craft fairs with her mom, when she wasn’t growing a pom pom business from her fourth-grade school desk. (Her teacher told her to knock it off.)
These days, she's making vintage-inspired Christmas stockings and tree skirts from felt and sequins, tons of ornaments, and other creative commissions. She creates original content and craft projects for companies including MadeTV, Handmade Charlotte, and Benzie Design.
Heather’s work has been in magazines, on stage, and online. Select pieces have been available at John Derian Company, Quirk Gallery, {verdigreen}, Parcel, and I Like You, and more. She's mostly worked through being an introvert and now loves leading in-person craft workshops. (They usually include sequins…and treats.)
Her craft lab is in Minneapolis, where she lives with her husband, their twins, and cavalier king charles spaniel. Follow on Instagram @heathdon
