Learn More About After School Art Clubs and Summer Art Camps

How Does After School Art Club Work?

After school art club is meant to help kids improve their artistic skills with in person instruction by artists. Our Minneapolis based children's after school art classes are every week, but parents will be charged monthly on a recurring basis.

Students will immediately receive a snack, as we believe that after school snack is the most important meal of the day. Students will receive structured support and project options within media including: markers, colored pencils, pencils, gouache & watercolor, mixed media, collage, and air dry clay.

All classes take place at our location at 50th and France in Minneapolis. Please note that 30-day cancellation notice is required for all art clubs as we're holding your spot every week.

How Do the Kids Art Camps Work?

North Star Art Club kids art camps in Minneapolis at 50th & France. Instructional art classes and camps in the Twin Cities. Art camps for kids to create their own art with instruction from a former art teacher with a Masters in Art Education.

Students from throughout the Twin Cities can improve their art skills through week long summer camps at our Minneapolis location. We offer kids art camps for children ages 8 and up (3rd graders and older). There are different classes by age group, and we encourage students to start with their age group regardless of skill level and then adjust from there. Elementary school, middle school, and high school art camps are available.

Class sizes are small, so every student will benefit from one on one instruction and feedback on their art.

Is the space wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately we are the 2nd floor of a 100 year old building, and there is a flight of stairs that will need to be climbed to access the North Star Art Club.

We are happy to assist in carrying a wheelchair up those steps and make every accommodation possible for students that need support.
