• July 15-17: Inspired by Women in Art

    Students will explore Painting & Drawing through Florals, Landscapes, Organic & Geometric Shapes and Observational Drawing techniques gathering inspiration from the works of Georgia O’Keeffe, Frida Kahlo, Yayoi Kusama and other innovative female artists. 

    Provided materials: Students will work via pencil drawing, oil pastels, colored pencils, markers, watercolor and gouache paint.

  • July 22-25: Cute Stuff and Happiness Camp

    Students entering grades 3-5 will be encouraged to explore drawing and painting items that bring them joy! Make art that brings you joy. What do you love? 

    Your cat? Watermelon? Pizza? Cheeseburgers?

    Create light-hearted art that brings a smile to your face and puts more joy into the world!

  • July 22-25: Your favorite places - Landscapes Inspired by Your Own Travels

    Students will explore various materials and techniques during the first three days of this course. The final day they will create a choice based project highlighting one of the styles we have worked on this week.

  • August 5th-7th: Favorite Things Collage & Mixed Media Camp

    Focus on being inspired by things you love! Create art that highlights your identity in a variety of styles and media. Two classes offered based on age the week of Monday August 5th to Wednesday August 7th.

  • August 12th-16th: Be Bold! Be Bright! Drawing and Painting Camp

    Students will learn observational drawing techniques, practice shading, textures & seeing light and shadow. Work from life with bold contrasting fruits like dragon fruit, watermelon & kiwi. You may also bring favorite BOLD! Items from home. Think Tomato Red & Lime Green!

  • August 19th-22nd: Poisonous Creatures and Other Spiky Things

    How do we know if any animal is poisonous? Its color or texture can tell us to watch out!! Students will explore drawing their favorite poisonous creatures (not from life). Oil Pastels, Chalk, Charcoal, Air Dry Clay and Mixed Media will be explored. Ms. Norton loves to combine Science & Art - Sign up now to secure your spot!

  • August 26th-29th: Drawing & Painting Camp

    Students will explore creating an intentional & interesting composition. They will study various periods of art including Impressionism & Abstract Act- we will look at repetition, contrast, shape, design, texture & color through the use of Watercolor, Gouache, Tempera & Acrylic Paint.
