June 23-27: Art & Mindfulness (Entering Grades 3-5, plus Advanced 2nd Graders)

9am-1:30pm Monday June 23rd through Friday June 27th. Bring a peanut free lunch (snacks also provided). Student art show on Friday at 1pm.

Entering 3rd-5th Grade (advanced 2nd graders allowed)

Students will be exploring various styles of mindful art, creating a Vision Board/or Favorite Things collage- working with images and color schemes that bring them joy-  the final 30 minutes each day will be working with air dry clay- due to the stress relieving properties of clay- on Thursday & Friday we will be painting our clay sculptures.

We will take one walking field trip to La Michoacana for paletas and one day for Starbucks (no additional cost)
