July 22-25: Your favorite places - Landscapes Inspired by Your Own Travels

Students will explore various materials and techniques during the first three days of this course. The final day they will create a choice based project highlighting one of the styles we have worked on this week. 

Students will have opportunities to explore Watercolor resist techniques, charcoal & chalk pastel drawing and intentionally setting up your composition. Collage & Mixed Media will also be explored. Students are encouraged to bring in photos and create meaningful works inspired by their travels or personal experiences. Additional exploration with colored pencils, charcoal, watercolor & mixed media.

All art classes take place in person at our location at 50th and France in Minneapolis.
