Frequently Asked Questions
Are there art camps during the school year?
During the school year we offer after school art clubs daily, so unfortunately there isn't much time for camps. During the summer we offer multi-day art camps for kids of all ages.
Is financial assistance available?
Yes, we offer financial assistance to students who need help paying for classes and camps. Please contact us for more information.
Do you host birthday parties or events?
We're happy to host your birthday party or special event at the North Star Art Club as long as it won't conflict with any existing art camps or clubs. Please contact us for more information about scheduling a birthday party at the North Star Art Club.
Can we bring food?
Please do not bring any outside food or drink to the North Star Art Club. We will provide a snack to each student upon arrival.
What's the deal with Spanish classes and tutoring?
Our founder, Mrs. Norton, has a background in Spanish language education. We offer a Spanish language course during the schoolyear that will help supplement and expand existing knowledge. Please contact us for more information about tutoring (which is offered via Zoom).
Can we bring a water bottle?
Yes, please feel free to bring a water bottle. However, we ask that you only have water inside and no other beverages.
Is the space wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately we are the 2nd floor of a 100 year old building, and there is a flight of stairs that will need to be climbed to access the North Star Art Club.
We are happy to assist in carrying a wheelchair up those steps and make every accommodation possible for students that need support.
