Poisonous Creatures and Other Spiky Things Art Camp (Entering Grades 3-5, plus Advanced 2nd Graders)

Two Sessions Available:

• Monday July 7th through Friday July 11th (9am-1:30pm)
• Monday August 4th through Friday August 8th (9am-1:30pm)

Bring a peanut free lunch (snacks also provided). Student art show on Friday at 1pm.

Entering 3rd-5th Grade (advanced 2nd graders allowed)

How do we know if any animal is poisonous? Its color or texture can tell us to watch out!! Students will explore lots of color and texture while drawing their favorite poisonous creatures (not from life) and will have opportunities to use Oil Pastels, Chalk, Charcoal, Air Dry Clay, Mixed Media and more!

We will take one walking field trip to La Michoacana for paletas and one day for Starbucks (no additional cost)
