How do we know if any animal is poisonous? Its color or texture can tell us to watch out!! Students will explore art making with lots of color and texture while drawing their favorite poisonous creatures (not from life) and will have opportunities to use Oil Pastels, Chalk, Charcoal, Air Dry Clay, Mixed Media, Acrylic Paint, Watercolors and more!
Ms. Norton loves to combine Science & Art and we also have a local Science Teacher coming in as a guest speaker!
We will take one walking field trip to Sweet Science for Icecream and one day for Starbucks (Your student can select a $5.00 item at each location for no additional charge). On Wednesdays, we walk to the park for lunch.
This unique camp exploring the connections between Art & the Natural World is sure to be a highlight of the summer for your student!
Refunds available until May 1st, 2026.
As we are a small space- only 10 seats are available for each camp.
